Physical Description:
Tall and broad, hair cut short with tight curls on top and shorter at the sides. His nose is slightly crooked from being broken so many times, but it's barely noticeable.

Family & Personal History:
Rhodri Llewellyn Griffiths, or "Griff" to his friends, was born and raised in Llanelli, Wales on Earth to parents Williams and Cerys.

Griff was a mercenary captain for twenty years, inheriting his family business when he was 19 years old after his father';s ship was destroyed. He owned and operated a fleet of fifteen vessels running escort and convoy missions for science vessels and cargo ships.

During the Dominion War, his company ran escort for civilian medical ships coming back from the front lines. During this time, most of his ships became too badly damaged to continue running operations, and so he disbanded the company and jumped at the chance when Starfleet offered him a position as an NCO onboard Starbase 375.

Griff spent most of his time running tactical analysis and small sorties out of Starbase 375, focusing on escort and defense of mining operations, prisoner transfer and medical ship transport.

Educational History:
Griff never attended Starfleet Academy, instead being forced into the role of a fleet Captain at a young age. He spent a lot of his time picking up the ins and outs of Command, Engineering and Tactical systems from his father's mercenary crew. He was almost 21 when he took his first real command in the Company fleet.

While he enjoyed the Engineering work that he did, he found that tactics and strategy was something that came easily to him, and he honed in skills in numerous missions and sorties for various races in the Federation. Whether it was defending convoys from pirate attacks or setting up a defensive perimeter for a delicate and expensive mineral survey, they always came out ahead.

Medical History:
While Griff is no stranger to intellectual pursuits, his favoured physical pastime is playing Rugby on the holodeck. As such he's suffered numerous breaks, sprains, bruises and tears over the years, and any medical scan will quickly show evidence of hurried or amateur repairs.
