Physical Description:
William has a very standard looking body structure, one that promotes a jack of all trades look. Not buff, but muscular, not incredibly skinny, but somewhat slender. He is somewhat average height. He has mid length brown hair with brown-hazel eyes. His expression is one of curious confidence. He smiles when happy, and frowns when frustrated. He believes that making his feelings known will help him connect with people.

Family & Personal History:
William grew up in a middle class suburb of Indianapolis, on Earth. Since that area was still highly populated, William developed good communication and people skills at an early age. He was abused by a troubled father for a short period of time, but soon after Will hit his teens, he made peace with his father. His mother, a Betazoid, left when he was young. He had trouble focusing in school, but excelled in other extracurricular activities.

Educational History:
William always hated academics. He went to Starfleet academy due to his fathers suggestions, when he was 18. He quickly rose to the top of his class during the first year, but soon plummeted to the bottom the year later. Due to an excellent instructor, William did maintain an excellent grade in his Engineering classes, but was not up to par with anything else. But, slowly, he climbed back up to the top 10 in his class. That said, anything outside of his main classes, he absolutely devoured. He placed first of all cadets in Communications and First Contact Challenges, first in Abstract Engineering Solutions, and was president of the Leadership Club for a short time, while his grades were good.

Medical History:
William can get overwhelmed by the other feelings of new people, due to him being half Betazoid. Due to his mother’s early absence, William never learned how to shield his mind from other people’s feelings. He has a fellow Betazoid peer, Reeta Dennmar, who is actively trying to teach him this method.
He is fit, and healthy otherwise, with no notable physical disabilities.
