Log Writing Competition!
You heard that right, folks. For the month of April, we want you to write the best damn logs you can possibly write. At the end of the month, you’ll get to nominate your favourite self-penned masterpiece and put it up for judging by your peers.
All you need to do to be eligible is to write at least two logs during the month of April. You can, as ever, write as many as you like but you’ll need to have written at least two during that period to make it count. Then you just pick your favourite and let us know which one it is in the Competition thread. While we do love joint logs, they won’t be eligible for entry but they will count towards the two-log minimum for the month.
Submissions will be accepted from May 1st to the 7th, at which point we will lock the thread and open up a poll where the entire playerbase is free to vote on their favourites. Voting will take place over two weeks (from May the 8th to the 22nd) to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to vote on their favourite log. Winners will be announced at the end of May.
Now for the good stuff. The prizes are as follows;
1st Place: A $20 Amazon gift card, and a Star Trek: Engage t-shirt!
2nd Place: A Star Trek: Engage t-shirt!
3rd Place: A $10 Amazon gift card!
On top of that, the 1st place winner will be allowed to choose one of their characters to have a full mission arc written around them. Do they have a secret past that’s come back to haunt them? A mysterious stranger that claims to be their long-lost sibling? A chance encounter leaving them with a case of space-herpes? You get to work it all out with your GD!
