Mission Orders, Stardate 11407.06

TO: Commander Sara Sumner, Commanding Officer, Sigma Rho Station

Commander Sumner, good work with the situation on Gemulon. We've spoken with both the Tzenkethi Coalition and the Romulan Tal'shiar and both claim that they had no knowledge of either fleet, and that it must have been the work of rogue agents. In either case, we've stepped up patrols along the Romulan Neutral Zone and the Tzenkethi border.

We've reassigned Fleets Thirty-One, Ninety-Four and One-Eighteen Epsilon and Gamma to your sector. I received reports that the U.S.S. Hathaway, the U.S.S. Scarecrow AND the U.S.S. Visage awaiting repair, rearm and refit as well as a Ferengi delegation aboard awaiting room for trade negotiations with the Angosians and an El-Aurian troupe. On top of that you should be expecting the U.S.S. Andoria to be bringing in a T'kon vessel that was found and salvaged by the U.S.S. Hyperion. The Andoria will be remaining with the Station until your engineering teams have discovered all they can from the vessel, at which point it will be moved to a Starfleet R&D station.

You and your crew have a busy time ahead of you, Commander. Good luck.

Mission Briefing SD 11407.06

TO: All Senior Staff, Station Sigma Rho
FROM: CO Commander Sara Sumner

ALL: It seems we have a bit of a backlog to deal with after our trip out to Oann. I know some of you may still be on edge, but we need to keep doing our jobs. Once we get this laundry list out of the way, I'll arrange for some extra down time for everyone.

CSO: I want your department to analyze what you can of the T'kon vessel, along with Engineering. Based on what I've read of the T'kon civilization, this ship could prove invaluable to our future starship designs, as well as a deeper insight into the T'kon themselves. Before you get started, however, please see me in my office.

CEO/ENG: Engineering seems to have the largest work load; the Hathaway, Scarecrow, and Visage are awaiting repair and refit, and of course there's the ancient battleship to look over. Delegate your teams as you see fit, Mr. Tegan.

CTO/TAC: We'll need security arrangements for these trade talks. We shouldn't need anything overly intrusive, just some background checks and a watchful eye should one party seek to cause trouble. If you can, please send personnel to assist Engineering with rearming the ships docked for refit. I'd also like a team posted at the entrance to the T'kon vessel; authorized personnel only, obviously.

Lastly, please look for Mr. Sulfrek. If you manage to find him, have him escorted to my office. Don't take 'no' for an answer.

OPS: You and I will be dealing primarily with the trade talks. Please find a room that will comfortably seat all parties involved, and grant their requests within reason (send any unreasonable requests to me). With Ferengi, El-Aurians, and Angosians involved, I imagine these talks will prove... interesting, to say the least. Engineering and Tactical may also need your help in the refitting process.

I'm sure we'll all get through this in no time.

That is all.

Mission Briefing SD 11408.16

Postby C. J. Short » Sat Aug 16, 2014 1:38 pm

TO: All Administration Officers, Station Sigma Rho
FROM: CO Commander Sara Sumner

ALL: Everyone, we have a laundry list of work ahead of us, so everyone's going to have to multitask. The Hathaway, Scarecrow, and Viasge all require refit, we have an ancient T'kon vessel to catalogue, we're hosting three-party trade negotiations, and this is all on top of our usual work load.

For our new Cadets, I'm sorry you've arrived at such a busy time; unfortunately, you're going to have to dive right in, and learn on the job. The senior staff and I will help you as much as we can, and worst-case scenario, just use your instincts, and we'll sort it all out later.

OPS: Cadet Avycyn, please ensure that the Ferengi, Angosian, and El-Aurian parties have all that they need for their talks, within reason. We're not caterers; that's what Qaplah's is for.

TAC: Cadet Kreiner, please assign some crewmen to assist Engineering with the re-arming portion of the refits. Additionally, I'd like you to inquire as to the whereabouts of Mr. Sulfrek, the proprietor of the Praetor's Palace. I have some questions for him.

MED: Cadet Ska, I apologize for the general state of disorder in Sickbay; our medical officer situation has been somewhat in flux. Do what you need to do to get it orderly; I'm sure station personnel will appreciate not having to wait for an hour to heal a cut.

CSO: Lieutenant, I want you in charge of examining our research project. Get whatever preliminary data you can from the ship's systems and data banks, but remember that the ship will get a more thorough examination elsewhere; we're looking for breadth here more than depth.

Good luck, everyone; things will be back to normal soon.

That is all.
