Postby Aoibhe Ni » Fri Apr 04, 2014 5:24 pm

In order to ensure every player has a good chance to keep up with any ship in the game, we will be compiling mission summaries on an on-going basis.

This topic is sat aside for the Bremen's missions, but other topics will be added for the other ships/station in due course.
Feel free to comment, ask questions, etc.

USS Bremen.
Mission Summary: "Elding"

<<<CLASSIFIED, Command Level Clearance Required>>>

After civilian storm chasers picked up an energy reading on an unexpected frequency in the vicinity of uninhabited Kalandra IV, the Bremen was dispatched to investigate, with the expectation of locating possible crash survivors. Once there, they found a planet couched in ion storms which in turn fueled violent and erratic electrical storms in the planet's atmosphere.

Upon releasing an atmospheric probe, a bolt of electricity traveled along the probe's signal and impacted with the hull, flashed through several major systems, including the computer and finally materialised on the transporter pad as a naked, silver-skinned, silver-haired humanoid female with a curious aversion to clothing.

This woman, named Silvia by the crew, was an innocent, her only desire was to learn more about her new solid existence, but unfortunately, her destructive need to absorb energy in vast quantities was putting the ship in danger.

The crew determined the best course of action was to shuttle her back to the planet's surface, feeding her on the electrical storm's energy instead, but the shuttle (containing Captain Griffiths, Silvia and Engineer sh'Tolar) experienced difficulties, lost contact with the Bremen itself, and crash landed. They managed to repair the damage, and began on their way back to the ship, determined to try some other means of helping Silvia.

The shuttle experienced massive and frequent lightening strikes which started to affect Silvia, making her glow and grow physically larger. Before long, it was clear to the Captain and Engineer that she was losing what little hold she had on her structural integrity. Despite their earnest desire to keep her safe, they were forced to abandon the shuttle for the safety of the Bremen just as Silvia, and the shuttle exploded.

The fate of the energy being known as Silvia is still unknown, though is is presumed she perished in the explosion.

Mission Summary Compiled on the orders of
Adm Elsbeth Bantree, SF HQ.
